QUESTION POSED ON: 24 August 2006
A user gets the following Exchange Server error message while trying to "Send As" a different user (generic Exchange Server mailbox). He has permission to "Send As" that user, but he still receives this message:

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

    Subject: Test
    Sent:  2/15/2006 12:16 PM

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

AnyUser on 2/15/2006 12:16 PM

You do not have permission to send to this recipient.
For assistance, contact your system administrator.

Do you know what the problem could be?

EXPERT RESPONSE
I have seen many people over the years miss something or configure the wrong Exchange Server permissions. I'd start by reading Microsoft Knowledge Base article 329622: 'Send on behalf' permission is not assigned to a user after you delegate access in Outlook, to ensure that all the correct settings are in place.
