QUESTION POSED ON: 20 August 2008
I need to disable IMAP and POP for about 98% of my company in an Exchange Server 2003 Standard Edition email environment. Can this be done through a global setting or scripting?

>
EXPERT RESPONSE
You can disable IMAP and POP by using the LDAP Data Interchange Format Directory Exchange (LDIFDE), CSVDE or ADModify.Net tools. You can also accomplish this by writing a script.
